She's given it this title because this piece is reminiscent of laying beautiful shells out for review after a long day in the sun and also because it feels tranquil - a great piece to get lost in after a hectic day.
Holographic paper is one of Ashley’s favorite materials. It’s visually striking and features a shimmering, iridescent surface capable of displaying a spectrum of colors. This transformative quality occurs as light interacts with the paper, causing it to shift and change hues when viewed from different angles. As you move around Ashley’s artwork, the colors shift, captivating your interest and drawing you back to it again and again.
