With this piece, Ashley was experimented with incorporating elements cut by the Cricut (the flower petals and leaves), and wanted a free-flowing composition, something different from the grid format she frequently employs.
Holographic paper is one of Ashley’s favorite materials. It’s visually striking and features a shimmering, iridescent surface capable of displaying a spectrum of colors. This transformative quality occurs as light interacts with the paper, causing it to shift and change hues when viewed from different angles. As you move around Ashley’s artwork, the colors shift, captivating your interest and drawing you back to it again and again. This dynamic material adds a sense of depth, movement, and a magical, almost ethereal quality to her creations.
